Uncharted is a breathtaking and vibrant tale of two soul-mates who find each other and love in the most unlikely of places.

At times poignant and utterly moving the story of Violet and Beck pulled at my heart strings. There were moments where I held my breath and my heart jumped into my throat. And others where I laughed and cried. By the end I was left feeling fragmented and wanting more.
Julie has painted a visually stimulating and exciting and at times scary world within the pages of Uncharted. I felt immersed in Violet and Beck's world. There were times where I closed my eyes and could see the coral reef, the white sand, the angry typhoon.
Uncharted is an exceptionally well written and beautiful story! And I am craving, needing and wanting more. I feel like I left a part of my heart on that island somewhere in the South Pacific!

Uncharted a survival love story eBook Julie Johnson Reviews
I am completely and utterly drained emotionally, in the best way, by the words of Julie Johnson. I just finished her latest release, Uncharted, and it ripped my heart to shreds. She utterly demolished me. She wrecked, pun not intended, but she also mended me with her story telling and the complete raw love of this story.
If you read The Girl Duet, you are familiar with Uncharted, but even know what I knew going in, I still couldn't get enough this story of the vividness of it as a whole. Julie can put me through the emotional wringer whenever she pleases.
I know people enjoy going on and on about 'all the feels', but Uncharted literally evoked every single one of them! I was angry. Irrationally so at that, I bawled. I'm talking I had puffy, red eyes. I fell in love. HEAD OVER FREAKING HEELS. I felt helpless and hopeful.
[I wish for Claudius Templesmith to come over the the loudspeaker and save them, I wished for Violet to have Katniss's knowledge of plants!!]
Beck is one of those heroes that you detest right out of the gate. He's a jerk. He's rude and short with Violet and just so infuriating. You think there is no way that he could actually redeem himself on this isolated island cut off from the rest of civilization. No way could I fall in love with this hero.
I am here to tell you. Beck is REDEEMABLE!! And when he was vindicate it was in big way!
Violet is young, but she is tough and strong willed. She is the kind of heroine I want to be in my own story. She doesn't back down from challenges when she is faced with some that I hope to never face in my lifetime.
Seriously. Uncharted deserves all of the praise hands!!
If I could give this book all the stars Violet and Beck see from their island, I would do so without hesitation.
From start to finish, each sentence in Uncharted is woven together seamlessly in a way that can only be found between the pages of a Julie Johnson book. The way she writes, the ease with which she can make a story come to life, is truly remarkable.
Make no mistake, this book is so much more than a typical love story. Uncharted is a love story perfectly wrapped in a tale of survival that you’ll lose yourself in and be so glad you did. While the chemistry and heat between Violet and Beck is enough to incinerate your ereader, that’s only one layer of the story. It’ll make you laugh, cry, scream at inanimate objects, want to hug each character, want to smack each character, and everything in between.
Seriously, look no further, make Uncharted your next read (and while you’re at it, go ahead and read EVERYTHING else she’s written if you haven’t already because they’re all top-shelf reads too!) - you won’t be disappointed! …unless you’re a curmudgeon. Don’t be a curmudgeon.
A dream summer job in Fiji turns into a life changing experience.
On their private flight to Fiji, the plane goes down...only three survivors.
Violet- witty, sassy, intelligent, brave & strong seventeen year old, who knows her own mind. I loved her instantly. She’s been hired for the summer to nanny for a wealthy family of a five year old girl.
Beck - a broody, gorgeous, award winning, 30 year old photographer. He’s been hired to photograph for a development deal.
Ian - the mid-western, handsome, funny flight attendant that brings levity to any situation.
Ian, Violet and Beck must do what they can to survive. Violet makes their makeshift camp into a home and mothers them, Ian -badly injured- provides comic relief and friendship and Beck does the heavy lifting, exploring and taking care of the family.
A story of survival. A story of friendship. A story of a family forged by circumstance. The human spirit has the ability to not only survive but thrive. These people depend upon each other to find the will to go on and make a life together on their deserted island.
This story is beautifully written! It sucked me in and kept me up well through the night because I couldn’t put it down. I hope there will be more. I loved every page.
